Gislaved Industrial Museum
At the museum you can see how local industries around rubber, leather and plastic have emerged and looked like.
Here are rubber balls from the first years of production next to galoshes, bottoms, shoes and tires. Glass from Gyllenfors Glasbruk, which was in use 1850-1903, celluloid, bakelite and plastic industry machinery and products, as well as leather from Remfabrikens manufacture of drive belts. Everything is gathered in the old Remfabrique, Gislaved's oldest factory building from 1893, beautifully located at the waterfall in Nissan.
The museum is also InfoPoint, which means that you can get tourist information there.
